Academic Excellence

Learn more about academics in the 2010-2011 CAC Student-Parent Handbook.

Students study from the challenging A Beka curriculum, which encourages academic excellence and character building.

Beyond strong English, math, history, and science, highlights of the curriculum include:

  • Reading, cursive writing, and phonics beginning in the four-year-old kindergarten program.
  • Language-learning in Spanish beginning in first grade.
  • Technology training in an up-to-date computer lab.
  • Work co-op program in conjunction with area industries and businesses.
  • Advanced Placement and college course enrollment available.
  • CAC is teaming with Sevenstar Academy to give our students a wider variety of course options.  Several different foreign languages, advanced placement courses, college courses, interesting Bible studies and much more will now be available.  (click here for more.)

Students may also participate in music lessons or band, in elective classes such as journalism and speech / drama, and on sports and academic teams.
